Please stand with us to help these children get clean water
According to UNICEF, 884 million people in the world do not have access to safe water. This is about one out of eight people in the world. The World Health Organization estimates that 1.4 million children die every year as a result of diseases caused by unclean water and poor sanitation. This amounts to around 4,000 deaths a day or one every 20 seconds. Access to clean water helps people take the first essential step out of the cycle of poverty and disease. It also contributes to a significant increase in life expectancy.
In an effort to make water more accessible to people in the developing world, Life for Relief and Development is working toward providing access to clean water for millions of people in several countries.
We seek your support to create Water Wells closer to the school for our children so they don’t travel distances to collect water from near by water spring.
