Rural Girls Education Program
Girls who receive an education are less likely to marry young and more likely to lead healthy, productive lives. They earn higher incomes, participate in the decisions that most affect them, and build better futures for themselves and their families. (UNICEF)
Often, girls are marginalised and are out of school simply because they are girls and it is not the cultural norm. Their chances of getting a quality education are even smaller if they come from a poor family, live in a rural area or have a disability.
Girls are four times more likely to be out of school than boys from the same background. However the poorest of them all and coming from Rural areas is most likely holding a failure to accomplish Primary School.
At CCSAE we have come across a number of children who are lagged behind in domestic practices at home because there parents don’t seem to add value to educating them. Through hands of good faith, we advocate to there right to education as well as support there cause to meet a new change for there future by
- Sponsoring there Education with Scholarships
- Providing them with Menstrual pads
- Providing them with Uniforms & other scholastic Materials
