The children in our sponsorship program are orphaned, abandoned, or come from extremely poor families who are eager to escape from the poverty that has trapped their family for generations. Childcare Support & Education Organization (CCSAE) Project’s philosophy is that Education is the powerful vaccine and together we can “break the bitter chains of poverty.”

At CCSAE, we focus on providing education to children so they can grow up to break the circle of poverty in their family. Just sponsoring one child and helping them complete school can be a change that impacts the same family for generations.

SPONSOR A CHILD

AllPrimary SchoolSecondary School

Currently, there are over 300 children being sponsored by almost 20 people of good faith and the number still grows everyday from our community social workers who find these children in there homes/villages without attending school.

  • Educational needs: We PAY school tuition and fees, transportation, uniforms, supplies and books, extra tutoring to help maintain class level, and training for apprenticeship as needed (mainly for older children)
    • Primary School $40 per month for a child who lives with his/her own family
    • Secondary School & TVET

We also teach parents the value of education so the whole family takes the child’s studies seriously.

How much does it cost to sponsor a child?

We ask you to help sponsor a child with an amount within your budget. Unlike almost all other charities, we do not set a fixed amount to sponsor a child, and many sponsors donate less than this, requiring multiple sponsors for each child in the program. We know that some people can give more, and others less. We appreciate all sponsorships very much

How does a sponsored child benefit from my monthly donation?

Your sponsorship is changing the life of a student in Uganda. Because of your support, the student you sponsor will receive an education, school uniform, shoes, Lunch provided at school, scholastic materials, and medical assistance.

Will my sponsored child write to me?

YES we encourage you to write to your sponsored student! Sponsored students write letters, which take place once a month in each community. You can expect to receive an annual letter from your sponsored student at the end of every summer. You are welcome to write up to four times a year, and you will receive reply letters within 8-12 weeks by postal mail.

Can I visit the Child that I sponsor?

Sponsoring a child is an ongoing commitment where you’re able to help meet the basic needs of a child by investing in their community, as well as build a relationship and watch them grow up until they, or their community, become independent. Sponsoring a child is like inviting another person into your family.

Is my sponsored student real, or just representative of a student in need?

You are sponsoring a real student, and they appreciate your sponsorship of their education. Sponsors are invited and encouraged to visit their students and their families in Uganda through a team trip with CCSAE USA Coordination Office

Nearly every child who has been brought to Childcare Support & Education Organization (CCSAE) has either fallen behind in their education, and many have never attended a single day of school in their lives. Because of this, CCSAE sponsorship program has an in-house primary school where each child has a chance to continue their schooling in a nurturing environment. The teachers are experienced and caring, and also offer support and pastoral care to these children. We also offer our older children the opportunity to attend a secondary school or vocational school after they have completed primary school.

At CCSAE, we focus on providing education to children so they can grow up to break the circle of poverty in their families. Just sponsoring one child and helping them complete school can be a change that impacts the same family for generations.

It’s not only our underprivileged children who benefit from our sponsorship program, we also provide completely free primary schooling to more than 300 boys and girls from our local community’s poorest families through provision of Bursaries to the best students according to their performance or situation of their family background, and if not through CCSAE’s support they would not be receiving any education at all.
